Nighy, Turner Join New “Emma” Adaptation
Bill Nighy and Callum Turner will join Anya Taylor-Joy in a new film adaptation of Jane Austen’s “Emma” at Focus Features and Universal Pictures International.
Autumn de Wilde helms the new take on the comedy of manners about a self-proclaimed matchmaker in a small village. Eleanor Catton penned the screenplay.
Miranda Hart, Mia Goth, Josh O’Connor, Rupert Graves, Gemma Whelan, Amber Anderson and Tanya Reynolds also star. Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Graham Broadbent and Pete Czernin are producing and filming begins this week in England.
