Your thoughts on this movie.....

Six years after Michael Myers last terrorized Haddonfield, he returns there in pursuit of his niece, Jamie Lloyd, who has escaped with her newborn child, for which Michael and a mysterious cult have sinister plans.

I've only ever seen the director's cut, which I've heard is much better than the theatrical version. And I certainly wasn't impressed. It worked when they brought back Jason Voorhees and turned him paranormal. After the first two movies, it was a pretty silly setup for the franchise. But Michael was different. He was just a regular psychopath. Sure, he got up after being shot numerous times in the first film, but I attribute that to his mental state and adrenaline. By the time we get to 6, we get this ancient Celtic curse making him an indestructible force who is predestined to kill his family. Yeah, no. That's even worse than seeing Paul Rudd trying to act in a serious horror film (not that the man can't act, he's just not horror material).
