Acclaimed French actress Isabelle Huppert has signed on to to “Pure as Snow,” an erotic comedy reimagining of “Snow White” at Gaumont. Lou de Laage, Benoit Poelvoorde, Vincent Macaigne, Charles Berling, Jonathan Cohen, Damien Bonnard and Pablo Pauly co-star in the film.
De Laage plays the beautiful young Claire who works at her late father’s hotel that is now managed by her evil stepmother Maud (Huppert) whose young lover has fallen in love with Claire.
Maud decides to get rid of Claire who finds shelter in a farm where she’s allowed to break free from her strict upbringing through encounters with seven ‘princes’. The project will start shooting in April.
