The trailer has premiered for “Rebel in the Rye,” the upcoming Nicholas Hoult-led biopic of author J.D. Salinger which first premiered at Sundance in January.
The film tracks the author’s relationship with young actress Oona O’Neill, and how WWII altered the course of his career and led to the penning of his most iconic work “Catcher in the Rye”.
Kevin Spacey, Zoey Deutch, Lucy Boynton, Sarah Paulson, Hope Davis, and Victor Garber co-star in the film which opens September 15th.
