Unfortunately he's a thoroughly obnoxious man, who runs his life according to his daily horoscope reading. Can the ghosts use this to get rid of him? Brian Wilde is guest star.

Lovely performance from Brian Wilde as an obnoxious millionaire who has bought Motley. An unlikeable man who does nothing without consulting his horoscope. He knows the place is haunted as refuses to be driven out.
His servants, Mr and Mrs Hamilton a weaselly pair of crooks are overheard by Bodkin chatting about how they make up the astrological advice to Hives ( Wilde ) in order to line their pockets. The ghosts must get rid of Hamilton. Hives is an orphan, so Bodkin tries to play on that make Hives doubt his astrological sign.
Enjoyed this episode, and a side issue about Sir George's portrait having been sold by Hives, and the resolution of this makes for a nice end to series 2.
