Pacino Turns Nazi Hunter For Jordan Peele
Al Pacino is reportedly closing a deal to star alongside the previously announced Logan Lerman in Jordan Peele’s new series “The Hunt” which will premiere on Amazon.
Inspired by real-life events, the series has been given a ten-episode direct-to-series order and tells the story of a group known as the Hunters living in New York City in 1977.
They discover that hundreds of former high-ranking Nazi officials are living among them and conspiring to create the Fourth Reich in the U.S. The group then sets out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans.
The project would mark Pacino’s first-ever TV role. Peele, Tom Lesinski, Jenna Santoianni and Win Rosenfeld will executive produce. “The Hunt” will premiere worldwide on Amazon but no date has been set.
