Baron Cohen Met With O.J. For New Film?
Comedian Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly at work on his next “Borat” and “Bruno”-style mockumentary feature with
The Daily Mail (via
Page Six) reporting that O.J. Simpson will potentially appear in the movie.
The report alleges that Cohen, wearing a curly dark wig and thick-rimmed glasses, met with O.J. Simpson in a Las Vegas hotel room for a scene for the project and Simpson scored $20,000 to show up for the meet and greet which will somehow be used in the project. The paper’s source says: “O.J. would not even get in the hotel room until he was paid a sackload of cash. There was no way Sacha could have got O.J. into the room without paying money.”
Understandably this has prompted outrage from both the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman according to the report. The film is apparently being shot in secret and Cohen’s team is remaining silent at the moment – refusing to confirm that a movie is even being shot. Simpson though did confirm to the paper he met Cohen, saying: “I know him well. I met him. Nice guy” but wouldn’t confirm if he was paid a fee.
