Where to find old rare movies from 70s and 80s..

Where does one go to find old movies that aren't on the likes of Amazon or Netflix etc?

I used to use Lovefilm but since Amazon bought it its just not as good.. :(

Cheers!

This took me awhile to find, but I know you will like it. It has old movies that you will love.
What I really like is the section called 'Not on Netflix', here u will find some unique films.
It is FREE, but I do have to warn that there are commercials, nothing more than on TV, but something 2 deal with.

I really hope u like it, let me know what u think: :)
tubitv.com
Sorry, I don't know how to make a link & have limited functions with my tablet.

The Pirate Bay or many other similar sites. When the desire to watch movies is ever-present, no illegal way seems unreasonable enough.

Thanks Duzit, I think Crackle UK shut down but maybe I will use my vpn to have a look.
Also that tubitv sounds great! And don't worry about the link.. I think most admins frown upon posting URL links anyway. I always code wrap mine just in case!
Will let you know what I think of tubitv :)

Are you OK with£2.49 rentals?
Yes its worth it to watch an old movie that you can't find anywhere else! Do you have a site in mind? :)

Yes I go there as a last resort but I like to pay if/when I can. Haven't found the ones I need there yet though! Demonoid was good for that old stuff but my membership has expired or something as I can't seem to log in anymore :(

Thanks guys, I appreciate the suggestions!!

Use the JustWatch search engine for legit sites, no piracy:

Go to the UK site; justwatch.com/uk (doesn't work with IE browser)

De-select TV Series

Move the Release Year sliders to 1970-1989

Amazon - 2,292 rentals
Google Play - 1,440 rentals
iTunes - 1,375 rentals
Microsoft Store - 1,307 rentals

Everything else sux.

Hello guys,

yeah, first post in this category!

I am looking for film festivals in California with an online viewing library.
Filmfreeway and Withoutabox could not help me with searching that.

Or am I supposing wrong that there are plenty of festivals where you can sit at home and watch festival films like at the BFI festival in London?

Cheers,
Horst

Internet Movie Cars Database

I don't know if anyone has heard of this site but it contains alot about Cars in movies. Enjoy and it's a neat little form page. You will find here the most complete list on the web about cars, bikes, trucks and other vehicles seen in movies and TV series, image captures and information about them.

This is very useful for looking up vintage cars. I watch a series that is set in the '1920s' and
there are pics of every car used. Pics are very clear with informational captions...♡♡♡:):):)

What, in your opinion, are the most shameful examples of blatant Hollywood nepotism?

And can it ever be fair?

I saw a terrible film called Ricky and the Flash with Meryl Strep. There was something strangely familiar about the actress Mamie Gummer.

Discovering these mini-gems about a year ago has given me so many giggles and saved me significant dosh at the box office - given that I love what they do (however wickedly) to films I know and cherish, I tend to take their opinions on board about things of which I am essentially clueless.
What do other people think?
Here's a clincher - I practically laid an egg laughing at their Deadpool offering (having pretty much come to the Marvel-lous conclusion that if Sirs Ian and Patrick weren't playing, then neither was I) - so I've ordered the DVD and it might even turn up tomorrow!

So to recap - Honest Trailers, friend or foe?
And Deadpool - what do other people think?
