Paolo Ballesteros is busy these days. He has two movies showing around the same time next week.

Now by watching the trailers I can tell they're trash. I'm sad of this because I know Paolo is so much more than these cheap comedies. He was given his break on Die Beautiful and I thought his follow-up projects will be good ones, those that will display his talent but ugh. We still get these two. If I was a producer, I'd assemble a good team of writers and a promising director to create a movie with Paolo as the lead. Having said that, I'd still see myself lining up in the cinemas to watch these movies. Ugh. But I'm still debating with myself if I'd waste money to that spoof to Train to Busan. Hayzzz... fan duties.

Here's a new Japanese all-girl metal band. Pretty cool stuff.
Pretty cool, but the vocals aren't as good as the instrumentation. I forget that guy's name from Megadeath that's sort of behind a lot of this stuff and what he was really interested in was the marriage of metal and J-pop (ala babymetal). There's no pop here, but it's pretty decent metal riffing. Thanks for sharing!

Here's a very funny video clip which I think only me and @clayton-12 will understand.

Singer-songwriter/comedienne Ogie Alcasid created a K-pop idol sensation (his contribution to K-pop) named Ban Sot-Mee (Bansot is tagalog street name for "dwarf" (he gets teased for his height).

He made this short clip of his composition, Taba Ko Na Bes (which means "I'm already fat, friend"):

Notice his suave facial gestures as if imitating a Korean singer, and notice that his lyrics are quite inaudible (Upon listening, you really get K-pop vibes but listening to it intently, its actually Tagalog words!) I just can't stop laughing at this I think I can memorize the lyrics already.

He's the K-pop idol to beat.

BAND-MAID.
The best part of this video is the lead singer with her hair tied back. She's beautiful, but you'd never have known it the way she usually hides behind her hair. I've watched a few behind the scenes things with this band and she is the shy/moody one. It's understandable.

I was having this conversation recently about Japanese volleyball players and their bangs, and hair-pin malfunctions. They can be cute, alluring, pretty, what have you, but you can't see beauty until you see their entire face.

Antoinette Jadaone had a film shown last saturday entitled NEVER NOT LOVE YOU. I knew of it but because it stars JaDine who usually gets a who cares? from me, I brushed it off. But it does have a promising trailer (they put a cool background music so it gets a plus for me). It did start off having sitenoise movie vibes, but James Reid started screaming in the end and started saying curse words while looking constipated and making emo faces which is what the opposite of what @sitenoise likes so....

For the trailer alone, I'd give it a positive score. But no plans of watching the movie.

And @clayton-12, here's the trailer to the Jadaone teleserye I was talking about. Arci Munoz gives off Jun Ji-Hyun levels of OA-ness so it's a bit of a turn off but I really dig the AlEmpoy love team. "Lets take a bath ourself" Bwahahahahaha!

So do I, but Alessandra de Rossi is a great actress with range. For her to continue to make movies opposite Empoy Marquez is the career equivalent of Daniel Radcliffe saying to his agent "Bring me more scripts about wizards".

Definitely. She's one of those actresses like Cherry Pie Picache...always just flying under the radar but whose talent can never be doubted.

Are there people who LIKE that? View attachment 7195 I mean people who look forward to seeing that in a movie?
Hahahahaha! Yes, the majority of us who don't have sitenoise eyes.

I know you've got an arsenal of emoticons there but that guy on the toilet is one of the cutest.

I only watched the trailer because you said that. It's a lovely piece of music. Most cool. When it finally crescendos at the end it is very sitenoise. It looks like a cute movie to me.

Ha! I intentionally placed it there so you'll watch it because I know you and trailers don't meet. You should've told me, "I see what you did there"....Hehe. It really did give me sitenoise vibes, especially in the beginning, with the dark lighting, shaky cam, one liner dialogues. But I have a bias against the stars on this film because you know I have issues with love teams so....don't get your hopes high but if you stumble across this on your 7-11 and you've got nothing else to watch and you decide to spend your time on this, please inform me.

There are some YouTubers who film walkthroughs of Japanese areas. The video below is from a guy who doesn't even talk during the videos, so you basically get raw video and audio. I like watching these videos sometimes, because it feels like I'm walking around in Japan. Some pretty cool stuff near the 9 minute mark in this one.
