Paramount Plans Bob Marley Biopic
Paramount Pictures and musician Ziggy Marley are teaming on a biopic based on the life and career of Ziggy’s father – the legendary Bob Marley.
The elder Marley is considered one of the most prolific artists in history and is widely celebrated for bringing the reggae genre into the mainstream. He passed away at the young age of 36 after battling cancer.
His music has withstood the test of time, including hits like “Get Up, Stand Up,” “Three Little Birds,” “Buffalo Soldier” and “Could You Be Loved”. His son Ziggy has had a successful four decade long career.
