This is definitely not true to the novel. It could be interesting, but if they were going to change it that much they should have just given it a different title with different characters. Not that I'm going to see it because I don't have HBO.

I’ve never heard of The Prisoner. I can’t think of any story quite like this one. Anyway I’m sure you’ll like the movie - although not everyone does, I have a friend who has taste similar to mine and he couldn’t get into this movie. But I thought it was very funny, and true in some respects.
