    Review The TARDIS

Modern-day everything is dark and gloomy. I much prefer the clean white interior of the older episodes. You’ll notice 2001: A Space Odyssey has clean white interiors too and the film holds up very well.

    I prefer it on Saturdays.

Where can I see that movie?

Review Gone With the Wind (1939)

The book was dreadfully racist. Margaret Mitchell was a good writer and a feminist (of sorts) but her attitudes towards black people were so backward, and the way she portrayed the KKK as being heroic - they had to rework that novel a lot to get it on film. Clark Gable was part black and part...

    Review Native Son (2019)

This is definitely not true to the novel. It could be interesting, but if they were going to change it that much they should have just given it a different title with different characters. Not that I'm going to see it because I don't have HBO.

Poll The Future: Utopia or Dystopia?

I doubt the future will look that good, unfortunately.

Review A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood (2019)

It could be good, if they stay true to the real story and don't schmaltz it up.

    Review Fan Theories!

Oh yeah, it existed since the 1800s didn’t it. Boy RTD maybe isn’t as clever as he thinks he is? They never did care for consistency did they. I like the first Dalek story the most out of all the ones I saw, but I haven’t seen Genesis of the Daleks yet. Damn, I have my free Britbox account, I...

    Review Fan Theories!

I think he said Gwenyth was Gwen’s ancestor? And the woman from Torchwood played by Freema Agyeman who was the first to get her brain hacked out was Martha’s cousin. See, they have an explanation for every double role! I find that tedious, personally, but they do.

Well that explains it, I have no kids.

Review THE SARAH JANE ADVENTURES: "Death of the Doctor" (2010)

I didn't care for that either. It doesn't even make sense, seeing as all the other companions aged, including Sarah Jane and Jo! RTD was sometimes as nutty as Moffat. Even if he didn't write that episode he shouldn't have greenlit that remark Another throwaway line I hate - if I haven't...

Review THE SARAH JANE ADVENTURES: "Death of the Doctor" (2010)

I agree, I was so happy to see Jo. The Brigadier was in an episode too - that was a great show. It’s so sad about Elizabeth Sladen.

    Review Brazil (1985)

I’ve never heard of The Prisoner. I can’t think of any story quite like this one. Anyway I’m sure you’ll like the movie - although not everyone does, I have a friend who has taste similar to mine and he couldn’t get into this movie. But I thought it was very funny, and true in some respects.

    Review Brazil (1985)

That movie had nothing to do with Brazil.

That was before the Doctor discovered that the moon was a giant egg.
