Before being the host of quiz show "Pointless" Alexander Armstrong appeared for years with comedy partner Ben Miller in their own sketch show. Both still actors, Miller particularly, Armstrong of course appeared in New Who.

Really love this episode, so many great scenes. Basil's awkwardness towards Mrs Penoir is a joy especially when he ends up on top of her in the lobby. Also when Alan tries to get a razor is classical Basil misunderstanding. Alan "do you know if there's a chemist still open?" Basil " I suppose...
