I've heard nothing but good things about this show but somehow never managed to see an episode. I need to add it to my future viewing list.

The only good episode from the series. Even as a child of 11 or 12 I realised that this was awful. And that anyone thought this could successfully follow on from the original series boggles the mind.

I'm halfway through season 2 at the moment on my bi-annual rewatch. Its a brilliant series.

I'm really not sure this concept lends itself to a movie format. All you'd really get is the basic pilot episode plot done with a big budget. This is a story that's best explored over a multi-episode series format. For me, the 2004 re-imaging did it best (although the original was fantastic too).

At least until someone comes along later and contradicts it. The original intention of the director of Morbius was that they were prior incarnations of The Doctor. It's only when later writers and production teams settled on a limit of 12 regenerations that they decided not to waste any...

Well there are also potentially another 8 previous Doctors from The Brain of Morbius (although later canon has tried to deny these) so maybe we're actually up to the 24th Doctor?

What about these Doctors (plus the Master and a new companion)? The Curse of Fatal Death was originally written as a parody but since Stephen Moffat has taken charge of Doctor who, many of the "parody" elements of this story have become canon.

I'd be happy to see him continue in the role. Justice League, for all its flaws, finally had him acting like Superman and I'd definitely like to see more of that.

I'm not sure you could honestly say that all of Ian Fleming's books have been adapted into official Bond movies. Sure they've used almost all of the titles but many of them bear little (if any) resemblance to the stories they're supposedly based on.
