    Review Babylon 5 (1994)

I've heard nothing but good things about this show but somehow never managed to see an episode. I need to add it to my future viewing list.

    Review Galactica 1980 (1980)

The only good episode from the series. Even as a child of 11 or 12 I realised that this was awful. And that anyone thought this could successfully follow on from the original series boggles the mind.

    Fun The Next James Bond

I'm halfway through season 2 at the moment on my bi-annual rewatch. Its a brilliant series.

News Battlestar Galactica Movie: IN DEVELOPMENT

I'm really not sure this concept lends itself to a movie format. All you'd really get is the basic pilot episode plot done with a big budget. This is a story that's best explored over a multi-episode series format. For me, the 2004 re-imaging did it best (although the original was fantastic too).

    Fun The 14th Doctor!

At least until someone comes along later and contradicts it. The original intention of the director of Morbius was that they were prior incarnations of The Doctor. It's only when later writers and production teams settled on a limit of 12 regenerations that they decided not to waste any...

    Fun The 14th Doctor!

Well there are also potentially another 8 previous Doctors from The Brain of Morbius (although later canon has tried to deny these) so maybe we're actually up to the 24th Doctor?

I'd tell you to stick that in the heart of your bottom, but you might take that the wrong way.

    Fun The Next James Bond

That makes me feel much better after my 48th birthday last week. I felt like I was getting old but know that I know how positively ancient you are I feel young again. :emoji_wink:

    Fun The 14th Doctor!

Technically Jodie is the 15th Doctor, given we've now officially got the War Doctor and two incarnations of David Tennant's Doctor, making Matt Smith the 13th and Peter Capaldi the 14th. I'll happily admit to having no preference for the role. Male/Female/Young/Old - as long as it's a good...

And the movies so far haven't deviated to that extent for you?

    Fun Dubious Doctors!

What about these Doctors (plus the Master and a new companion)? The Curse of Fatal Death was originally written as a parody but since Stephen Moffat has taken charge of Doctor who, many of the "parody" elements of this story have become canon.

    Fun Worlds of DC

I'd be happy to see him continue in the role. Justice League, for all its flaws, finally had him acting like Superman and I'd definitely like to see more of that.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: CYGNUS ALPHA - Episode 03

Time dilation is a possibility, but I think an unlikely one. The fact that they didn't arrive until after the London suggests that, although they clearly travelled at an unexpectedly high speed, the full 8 months have passed. So either they've travelled at the same speed as the London or (more...

    Review BLAKE'S 7: CYGNUS ALPHA - Episode 03

I have to say, on this issue I agree with Avon. I don't think that, with Blake leading, they will have a safe or quiet life. And I doubt there will be another opportunity to retire rich.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: CYGNUS ALPHA - Episode 03

Another enjoyable episode, even if it doesn't quite live up to the standard of the previous couple of episodes. An interesting concept of using the introduction of religion as a way of controlling the population and the idea of "creating" a disease to add another level of control (through the...

    Fun The BOND Books!

I'm not sure you could honestly say that all of Ian Fleming's books have been adapted into official Bond movies. Sure they've used almost all of the titles but many of them bear little (if any) resemblance to the stories they're supposedly based on.
