I first saw The Grudge, and loved it. It properly creeped me out. Then I finally saw Ju-On, which I loved even more. Shimizu then went on to do The Grudge 2, which paled in comparison (however, the uncut version is much better than the theatrical release). I never bothered with the third.

I miss aspects of the imdb message boards. I don't miss what they became. I still go there pretty often, but mostly when I'm watching something and I need to know who an actor is, or a writer/director, or to remind myself of how tall Karen Gillan is (5' 11" - I like girls who are taller than me).

This doesn't sound bad, per se, but it certainly doesn't scream originality. Also, the Watson character is a veterinarian? That seems to have missed the point of John Watson, Mother Fucking Army Doctor (someone started that moniker on imdb, and it stuck with me).
