    Review The Incredible Hulk (2008)

Didn't he also want to have involvement in the writing side for Avengers? I understand that he did some rewrites on TIH because he felt he had a better understanding of the character.

    Fun The Trek Franchise!

Generally speaking all of the casting has been pretty good. The writing on the other hand ... After all even the best actors can only work with what they're given.

    Review Star Trek Beyond (2016)

The story's not the greatest but this was the first one that I felt really got the characters and their relationships right.

Review Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens

It's a pretty good movie overall. Not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But it may turn out being better understood as part of a trilogy rather than a stand alone movie. By which I mean that many of the issues people have with this movie may be resolved by information delivered in later...

Review Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi (1983)

I've always enjoyed it. Unlike many others I never had an issue with the ewoks. Plus Carrie Fisher in a gold bikini! What's not to like?

Review Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019)

Theres no chance that it will end with episode 9. The series will continue as long as Disney believe they can make money from it.

    Review Thor Ragnarok (2017)

I've enjoyed the Thor movies so far but they have been among the weaker links in the MCU. The new one looks good though, so hopefully it will break the trend.

    Review Hulk (2003)

There are parts of it that I liked, but overall it wasn't a great comic book movie. I thought Eric Bana was unlucky to have been cast in this as he made a great Bruce Bannor and would have been good in the MCU. But that's the curse of a poor movie that has to be rebooted. The lead actor gets...

    Fun Worlds of DC

They've got some good ideas. And generally speaking I'm happy with the casting so far (although I haven't seen Suicide Squad yet). But each movie feels like they're trying to fit too much in. It just feels like they're trying to rush things to catch up with Marvel. And a slightly less depressing...

    Review Batman & Robin (1997)

I honestly can't think of any. Batman Forever was bad but at least it was fun. Batman and Robin was just bad.

    Review The JOHN HURT/WAR Doctor

I wasn't a fan of the idea but John Hurt absolutely sold me on the War Doctor. His portrayal was perfect and my only sadness now is that we'll never see more of him. Although I am planning on buying the Big Finish War Doctor stuff just as soon as I have some money.

    Review The Whittaker Doctor

I voted "good actor, full stop" but I'm using "actor" as a non-gendered term. Male or female I don't care, as long as its well acted and well written.
