    Review The West Wing (1999 - 2006)

One of the best shows out there. And you linked my all-time favorite scene from the entire series.

I had no idea this existed. Now I'm intrigued.

    Review Batman (1966)

I still love the Adam West series. As someone who's read comic books all his life, I accept most portrayals of Batman onscreen as some version of canonical. While the television series was meant to be parody of the comic book character, it still represents the older, campier version of the...

Review A Bit of Fry and Laurie

I loved Jeeves and Wooster! I would absolutely love to see that come back! Did you see the Fry and Laurie reunion a few years ago? They talk about how ABOF&L wasn't actually cancelled, they were just never asked to do another series, and that they should do another one. I'm okay with that.

Review Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2 (2017)

Sweet! It opens next Friday here, and I think my son and I are going to go.

Ah! Blessed are the cheese makers!

Review A Bit of Fry and Laurie

Not technically a Britcom, but something I was introduced to in the 90s, via BBC America. Possibly one of the best sketch comedy shows ever, by one of the best comedy duos ever. Before Stephen Fry became the go to British guy for many American productions, and Hugh Laurie became Dr. House, these...

    Review Thin Ice (2017)

No, nor did he explain the benefits of cement shoes. No arch support, I would imagine. Not at all comfortable. So do I, mate. I will forgo any jokes about fishy smells. I am, after all, a gentleman. And those people are what I like to call wrong. We fear that true citizens such as ourselves...

Review Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969)

You know, then, of the Norwegian Blue? Lovely plumage. They tend to pine for the fjords, though.

    Review Thin Ice (2017)

My great-grandfather was a higher up in the mafia. I understand he used to say this all the time. I couldn't agree more. I was introduced to them by a friend of my wife's who moved to Australia. But we shall pass on them. Mary Tamm. Hmmmm. Sorry, what were we talking about? I've never...

Review Monty Python's Flying Circus (1969)

My folks introduced me to Python as a wee lad, and I've never looked back. I don't know if I could, in good conscience, pick my favorite sketch. But this one might just be the one to take the top spot.

    Review The Missing Episodes

No sock puppets? I'm out. I refuse to see my favorite television program besmirched in such a way as to not have the characters presented by sock puppets.

    Review Thin Ice (2017)

Not a one of them is worth the jail time. I am reminded, however, of the discussion in the movie Rope, where Jimmy Stewart offers the idea of being able to, every now and then, kill off those who are deemed unfit for life in society. Perhaps a discussion best left until you put the kettle on...

    Review Thin Ice (2017)

My guess is this has something to do with this oath he took. Also, what was the oath? I'm getting tired of TV shows doing this with some secret that gets eluded to, but they don't actually reveal for half a season or more. One episode, two, fine. But don't use it to garner my interest just to...

    Review The Classic Who Writers

No one could have had an easy job doing this show at the time. I know there will always be someone at the top who hates certain programs, and will sabotage them in any way they can, and that's not something anyone should have to deal with when working on a show. Andrew had some really great...

    Review The Classic Who Writers

Interesting that even then, producers were getting accused of catering to American audiences. I don't think JNT was the best producer there could have been for the show, but I still have fond memories of the show at the time, even with all of its flaws, so I can't say it was completely terrible...

    Review Classic Doctor Who

Outside of the occasional DWM and some of the comics, I don't have any collectibles. Other than a TARDIS and Dalek salt & pepper shaker set I got from a friend after my mom died. Again, this is down to being poor and DW collectibles being so flipping expensive here. Plus, you can only find them...

    Review Doctor Who in Print!

The closest place for me to get it is at my LCS, and since my financial situation has drastically cut my comic book spending, I usually don't get in to pick it up. That, and for the most part, if there's something I really want to read in it, someone will have posted it online somewhere. I will...

    Review The Flash (2014)

Rumor has it the big bad won't be a speedster next season. Personally, I would love for the main baddie to be Grodd, but the CGI would run the show over, so I know it won't happen.
