I have heard that rumor. And there's a scene in the series trailer that looks like he's regenerating. I don't think this is a good idea, as that's how Tennant was introduced, and I would have preferred that he be introduced in a series opener.

Apparently my voting for Noel Fielding didn't pay off. I knew I should have voted for Richard Ayoade.

I still haven't watched the films, but the series is so damned funny. Again, goes back to the point I had made in my other thread. In the US, our TV producers would have milked this for at least 8 or 10 seasons, and would have ruined it. Luckily, the US version failed before it got too far.

Spaced is still on my Netflix or Hulu list. One of these days I'm going to sit and watch it.

I think it looks pretty good. The robots seem cutesy, but the idea that they're not all benign makes me hopeful that this will be a great episode. One of my favorite McCoy moments. The way that scene is played out is just brilliant.

The US version has some great moments, but it never lives up to the brilliance of the UK version, in my opinion. I binged this series in a couple of days. So damned funny. Here's one of the better moments from the US version.
