I remember Barry Norman saying he preferred this to FATAL ATTRACTION when he reviewed it. I like both films, but FA is perhaps a little more gripping?

The only thing I really remember from this is Tyne Daly's lovely performance. She certainly deserved to get her own series some years later in CAGNEY AND LACEY.

I always recall the sad ending of this one.

I have a real soft spot for this one. Yes, Harry is showing his years and it seems a bit shorter than the other DH films - but it's still good fun. Loved the tiny racing toy car scenes. And Jim Carey and Liam Neeson's contributions to this are amusing.

The strangest Dirty Harry film of all time. Harry is undercover investigating a laboratory which has mice. Nothing involves him in the main plot about a Gill Man and we never see him after a scene or two. Callahan saga wise, this is shit.

I have always thought that this was - probably - the weakest one, owing to Sondra Locke being cast as the main antagonist. I just don't think she has the acting chops to rival the Dirty Harry character and was clearly given the role simply because of her relationship with Clint in real life at...

Long while since I have seen this one - and the remake with Colin Farrell has completely passed me by. But I do remember the power of the ending.

Great film. Loved it to bits as a kid - and I wasn't much of a war movie fan. But just thought this was really well made and entertaining.
