Have to agree. I would rather see a movie about those strange beings than yet another superhero epic, no matter how well made. Box Office overkill of the more epic of these movies has almost burned me out on the whole genre, apart from oddities like JOKER.

It's all just such a total, convoluted screw up now. For me it's the T1, 2 and 3. (With 3 having a more honest and logical ending than even 2). Anything after that is reheated leftovers that have gone badly off.

I was very aware that Ewan was trying just a little too hard to sound like Alec in THE PHANTOM MENACE. But it's nice to see Disney actually acknowledging that the prequels (and the actors in it) happened instead of feeding like vampires on the original trilogy for once.
