Brilliant researchers Lillian Reynolds and Michael Brace have developed a system of recording and playing back actual experiences of people. Once the capability of tapping into "higher brain functions" is added in, and you can literally jump into someone else's head and play back recordings of what he or she was thinking, feeling, seeing, etc., at the time of the recording, the applications for the project quickly spiral out of control.

I saw a special theatrical version of this. The real world sequences (most of the film) were in 35mm. But when the film switched to a virtual reality sequence, suddenly it was in 70mm.

As Cliff Robertson says in the movie, "You knocked my socks off!"

I love this one. Great acting andChristopher WalkenandNatalie Woodhad great chemistry.

This was the last scene that Natalie filmed.Just two weeks before she died. After this scene they had a break in filming, since they were almost finished with the picture. Natalie had a few more small scenes to film for which they had to get stand ins.

Sadly the circumstances surrounding Natalie Wood's death somewhat overshadowed her final film.
