I recently took part in one escape room locally (breaking into a bank vault and then escaping in time).

Thankfully nobody died.

I think the whole Escape Room thing is just a passing fad, but I can't blame horror film makers for jumping on the bandwagon.

“Insidious: The Last Key” director Adam Robitel takes on this cheap teen-targeted psycho-thriller in which six strangers are invited to compete in a series of immersive escape rooms. When they discover that the rooms contain deadly traps, they must use their wits to survive. Essentially it’s “Saw” with less emphasis on torture porn and Sony released it this past Friday when horror plays well – the tactic worked with the film earning 140% of its budget in one weekend. Logan Miller, Deborah Ann Woll, Taylor Russell and Tyler Labine star.

CAT in AUTOMATIC ESCAPE ROOM - Can it SOLVE ALL THE PUZZLES?

This is the first automatic escape room for cats! Its made out of cardboard, wood, magnets, string and other smaller parts. The entire escape room consists of four small rooms, each with it's own puzzle. The cat needs to solve the puzzle to open the door to the next room. The door automatically opens when the puzzle is solved. The puzzles are very simple, the cat only needs to push the button, pull the string or step on a plate. To make it easier for the cat, we decided to direct and help it with some food.

We designed the escape room to be cat friendly. Meaning it is very spacious, circulated with air and all mechanisms are covered and protected.

Max is the first cat that has been in this escape room. He's a very handsome, brave and 'hungry all the time' cat. You can see his results in the video.
