The execution and appearance of the Tractators is pretty rubbish imo, but Davison never lets us know that, acting his heart out as always against them.

There was some criticism of Peter Gilmore as wooden by the regulars on the dvd. I thought he was fine in it. Ditto their criticism of Michael Robbins in THE VISITATION. And Beryl Reid was great too imo; much more interesting than yet another Robson/Hobson shouty base commander bloke in the role.

If only Beryl could have played Ripley in the Alien saga though.

A lost opportunity.
