Your thoughts on this movie....

An ancient prophecy seems to be coming true when a mysterious presence begins stalking the corridors of a school of magic and leaving its victims paralyzed.

For a long time, this was my favorite of the films (my arachnophobia not withstanding). The Weasleys and the flying car rescuing Harry, the introduction of Dobby, learning more about Voldemort/Tom Moody. Just an all around fun film. The last genuinely fun one before it really starts to get dark.

I just wish they had left in the ghost history professor and Nearly Headless Nick's deathday party.

This is very similar to the first film with lots of visual flair, stunning special effects plus a slightly darker tone. The long running time is still unwarranted though and the narrative is sometimes clumsy. Branagh is a lively addition as the irritating Gilderoy Lockhart.
