In this new psychological horror-thriller from Tate Taylor and Blumhouse, a lonely woman befriends a group of teenagers and decides to let them party at her house. Just when the kids think their luck couldn't get any better, things start happening that make them question the intention of their host.

International Trailer: “Ma”

Blumhouse and Universal Pictures have released an international trailer (above) for the horror-thriller “Ma” with a bunch of new footage.

Oscar winner Octavia Spencer stars as Sue ‘Ma’ Ann, a loner in a quiet Ohio town asked by a new teenager (Diana Silvers) to buy some booze for her and her friends.

She sees the chance to make some unsuspecting, if younger, friends of her own and offers the kids the chance to avoid drinking and driving by hanging out in the basement of her home.

But there are some house rules: One of the kids has to stay sober. Don’t curse. Never go upstairs. Ma’s hospitality soon starts to curdle into an obsession.

Luke Evans, Juliette Lewis, Missi Pyle, McKaley Miller, Corey Fogelmanis, Gianni Paolo and Dante Brown co-star. Tate Taylor helms the project which just received an R-rating for “violent/disturbing material, language throughout, sexual content, and for teen drug and alcohol use”. “Ma” opens in cinemas on May 31st.
