Franco, Kinberg Plan A “Multiple Man” Movie
20th Century Fox is developing a film based around the Marvel Comics character Multiple Man with James Franco slated to star.
“Wonder Woman” co-writer Allan Heinberg will pen the script while Franco “X-Men” franchise producer Simon Kinberg will produce via their Genre Films and Ramona Films labels.
The character is part of the X-Men universe and is Jamie Madrox who has the ability to duplicate himself. Moved to a remote farm and fitted with a special suit to control his powers designed by Professor Xavier, he lived quietly until the suit malfunctioned and he began to go crazy.
His cloning abilities drove Madrox to have various collisions and collaborations with both the X-Men and Fantastic Four. The character was previously played by Eric Dane in a small role in “X-Men: The Last Stand “......................
