I remember this as being a sudden step up in terms of scripting quality. This Jamie guy was one to watch.

I also recall that a script Jamie did in the next season had a co-writing credit by Moffat, as if the Grand Moff was wanting a bit of the glory of a superior writer by latching himself onto the credit.

I did notice that the hatchet faced woman from THE CURSE OF FENRIC was in the opening scenes.
