    Teaser: Redford, Fonda In “Our Souls At Night”

    A first teaser trailer has arrived for “Our Souls at Night,” the upcoming romance drama starring Jane Fonda and Robert Redford.

    Based on Kent Haruf’s novel, the story follows a widow who pays an unexpected visit to a widower neighbor in Colorado. They’ve known each other for decades, were friends with their late spouses, and their children are gone leaving them alone.

    She seeks to establish a romantic connection and make the most of the rest of the time they have. The pair previously starred together in 1967’s “Barefoot in the Park” and 1979’s “The Electric Horseman”.

    The film will premiere on Netflix on September 29th.

    Netflix has premiered the full trailer for the Jane Fonda and Robert Redford reunion feature “Our Souls at Night”.

    Based on the final novel by Kent Haruf, the pair play small town neighbours whose long-term partners died years before. Though they’ve known each other for decades, they’ve had little contact.

    With their children living far away and themselves alone, she seeks to establish a connection and make the most of the rest of the time they have.

    Ritesh Batra helms the film which is penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber and will be released on Netflix on September 29th.

    Just watched this today. I enjoyed the story line, although it was very predictable. Fonda & Redford still have good chemistry. This film gives hope to seniors that they don't have to face their end years alone◆◆◆♡♡♡
