It has a (debatable) place in Doctor Who history as a radio version of the show.

Saward tries very hard to be Douglas Adams and fails fairly spectacularly in my opinion.

I purchased the novelisation of this and read it once. Didn't find it at all appealing and I don't even think I still own it.
