Carell Returns To TV With Netflix’s “Space Force”

Steve Carell is returning to television for the upcoming Netflix series “Space Force”.

The workplace comedy, a reunion of Carell and “The Office” creator Greg Daniels, has been given a straight-to-series order and follows a group of people who must develop a sixth branch of the military – a ‘Space Force’ – following U.S. President Donald Trump’s expressed desire for one.

Carell and Daniels co-created the series together and will executive produce alongside Howard Klein. No episode count has currently been set for Space Force, but scripts will begin development shortly.
