Watched as part of a double bill with THE MUMMY'S GHOST this morning.

I remembered seeing the scene of someone emerging from a swamp - an eerie and disturbing sequence - but that was the only single memory I had of this film.;

The rest of the film plays the usual "drink the leaves", Kharis kills, lost love reincarnated route.

The MUMMY series in all it's limitations; but still a lovable series coz, hey, it's the Universal Monsters at the end of the day.

Abbott and Costello were. I think, an almost welcome inevitability with this particular Monster. It needed something different happening to it.
