Just an hour long - and watched on blu-ray this morning.

The MUMMY and the INVISIBLE strands of the Universal Monsters are the two that I have been least exposed to sequel wise.

I just think that there's only so much to be done with both concepts.

Kharis want to be reuinited with his lost love. And kills anyone who gets in the way.. Every movie.

Lon Chaney is certainly a menacing presence as the Mummy though. I have to give him his due.

I remembered this one for the ending, which is actually fairly bleak when one thinks about it.

I definitely get a feeling of the Mummy sequels being concocted without much thought or depth. Having said that, I have jumped into the sequence on the fourth film, but when I get around to seeing films two and three, am not hopeful for much variation.
