Trailer: Cooke & Taylor-Joy Are “Thoroughbreds”
Following the film’s premiere at the London Film Festival, Focus Features has released the trailer and poster for Cory Finley’s drama thriller “Thoroughbreds”.
Anya Taylor-Joy (“Split,” “The Witch”) and Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel,” “Me and Earl and The Dying Girl”) star as childhood friends who reconnect in suburban Connecticut after years of growing apart.
One turned into a polished, upper-class teenager. The other has become a social outcast with a sharp wit. As their friendship grows, they begin to bring out one another’s most destructive tendencies.
The film also boasts one of the final performances by the late Anton Yelchin who plays a local hustler. “Thoroughbreds” will open in theaters on March 9th 2018.
