Evans also discussed the emotional final chapter of the MCU’s current saga with “Avengers: Endgame” and says “this one’s really good. I choked up like three times” and he can’t believe they cut together a trailer because “so much of it is a visual spoiler”.

“Avengers: Endgame” will hit theaters on April 26th.

“Endgame” Heading For $800M Global Opening?

endgame-heading-for-800m-global-opening-696x464.jpg

Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Endgame” is on track to make ridiculous money when it opens next month, just as Chinese authorities have given the film the go-ahead to open in the Middle Kingdom on April 24th.

With that extra cash flow coming in, the film is said to be tracking for a global opening weekend of around $800 million if not more.

‘Infinity War’ opened to $258m domestically and $383M internationally, and that was before the further $199M opening in China arrived two weeks later.

With pretty much the entire world now getting this follow-up on the same weekend, the money looks set to flow.

Speaking of ‘Endgame,’ Joe Russo recently spoke about the differences between it and ‘Infinity War’ telling Box-Office Pro:

“I will say that the movie is definitely unique in tone. It has its own spirit that’s different than Infinity War, which is why I was keen for us to separate the movies. Of course, we’re handing off narratives and it’s been serialized over 22 movies.

But, it’s different tonally than Infinity War and it is told from a different point of view. It was important for us in our minds as film directors to separate those two because we do not want to make the same movie twice, and ways that you can differentiate films are through tone and point of view.”

“Avengers: Endgame” opens in cinemas April 26th.

Demand has been so overwhelming that many websites in this field have crashed – making it highly difficult for fans to secure their seats. Some ticket buyers are getting a 503 error code on AMC, and some users on Atom and Fandango have also had difficulty.

I am sure that Chainsaw will sympathise here, but it is definitely going to be "OPERATION: AVOID SPOILERS!" for about the next week or so. :emoji_robot:

Have heard that leaked clips are popping up on youtube, and that it is not unknown for people to put something spoilery in the title of the video, so that place might be a no-go-zone for a while.

Absolutely! Anywhere I go on the interwebs that may contain any spoilers is being avoided right now.

You don't know just how much this shit pisses me off. There were a couple of channels on YouTube (now shut down) that would start posting spoilers for the CW DC shows as soon as the shows were over, with spoilers in the titles. So if I worked that night and had to wait till midnight to watch it, I would hit up YT, and end up seeing these posted.

I guess I'm old fashioned, in that I don't want to know about the movie or show before I see the movie or show. I have never understood the kick someone gets out of spoiling things for other people. It's not a joke, and we're not being sensitive. I want to go to a movie and enjoy it. I don't mind some BTS pics or anything like that, but don't post actual plot points and story, then claim that it's your "freedom of speech" (actually had someone argue that one to me).

Definitely wanted to give you a heads up on this, CSM, as what I have now heard is that footage from "near the end of the film" has leaked and is circulating. :emoji_fearful:

This week definitely can't go quick enough now. :emoji_fearful:

Yep, watch yourself out there mate.

We had a younger guy working with us a couple of years ago. Really terrible worker, kinda stupid, but had I never worked with him, I could have probably gotten along with him more, as we're into a lot of the same things (especially anime and manga). But he was horrible about spoiling things. A buddy of mine came in one night when I was working with this kid, and we were talking about one of the Marvel shows, which my buddy had not yet seen. I just told him it was really good, and this kid starts just running through the whole show, and didn't get the hint that my friend was about to smack him around. He did it recently to me, going through some show I hadn't seen, even though I had just gotten done telling him "I'm trying to avoid spoilers".

People like that need to be put to death. No excuses.

@Doctor Omega Looks like I have to wait an extra week to see this. My son has an event for school this Sunday, which was the one day I was going to be able to make it. I'm just telling myself that it's going to be hella busy, and I don't want to be in a crowd. It's a lie, but it's keeping me from breaking down weeping.
