    Review Doctor Who (2005)

No sir, I don't like it. But then, I didn't like the looks of 9 & 10's or 11's Tardis interiors at first either. I really loved how it looked in the later Smith episodes and through Capaldi's run. It had enough hints of the old school Tardis but updated and more sci-fi. When the show rebooted...

Review A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)

We agreed you would never speak of this again! Ugh...fine... Where the original ANOES was a surreal film with legitimate scares and an interesting plot, this one is jump scares with no soul. The actors all act like they're bored with the project. And quite honestly, Freddy Kruger is a role you...

    Review Classic Who Companions!

I said the exact same thing with two words. :emoji_wink: It's true, that's why every time a company releases a new DVD package, or the Blu-Ray, you get a slew of all new material to entice you to spend even more money on it. Same reason why I still want to get the entire Star Wars saga on...

    Review Dracula (1931)

I whole heartedly agree with you on the Philip Glass score. It's lovely, but it overtakes the movie. The movie really is very good. I don't usually get too worked up about it straying from the novel since it's actually based on the stage play of the time. The acting is all around superb, with...

    Review Classic Who Companions!

I think so. There's a YouTube channel called troughtonlover, and they have a ton of these features on their channel.

Review Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995)

I've only ever seen the director's cut, which I've heard is much better than the theatrical version. And I certainly wasn't impressed. It worked when they brought back Jason Voorhees and turned him paranormal. After the first two movies, it was a pretty silly setup for the franchise. But Michael...

Put that on my must see list! That looks incredible!

    Fun Worlds of DC

Can we just look at that picture for a second? Robin looks like a bad cosplayer, Starfire looks like a hooker, Gar looks like a 90s slacker, and Raven looks like that mopey goth girl who wants to believe she's deep because she read a Wikipedia article on Sartre, but still has a boyband poster...

*insert joke about ass being lifted to face*

    Review Rosanne (1988)

That's the biggest issue! She had her half-hearted apology, and everyone was willing to just let her fade away. But every couple of weeks, she finds some new medium to go onto to proclaim how she's a fucking victim in all of this! She insulted someone in a very terrible way. It doesn't matter...

    Review The Wolfman (2010)

I don't think it's as bad as most make it out to be. It's not great, but it is a fun, gory werewolf movie. Story wise, it pales in comparison to the original, but it's worth a watch.

    Review Let Me In (2010)

I'm planning on finally watching this this week. I love the original, and have the novel (which I haven't found the time to actually sit and read). I've heard the remake is good, but since it's American, it's just louder.

Review The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death (2014)

An improvement upon the first, but still not a great film. I felt like there's no real emotion behind any of the characters. They just go through the motions.

Review The Woman in Black (2012)

I bought this only knowing the story and that Radcliffe was in it. Boy, was I disappointed. It's atmospheric and beautiful, but there were too many jump scares with no pay off. The only thing I really liked was how the movie ended. A pity, because this could have been a really great film, but...

    Review Ant-Man & the Wasp (2018)

This was a very good movie, and as others have pointed out, the palette cleansing needed after Infinity War. Definitely a welcome addition to the Marvel roster.

    Review Peter Cushing

Please tell me this is from an upcoming Pixar/Hammer collaboration!

    Review Count Dracula (1970)

I've never watched it either, outside of clips here and there. It looks like a fascinating film, if badly executed. I have heard Lee speak more highly of it than the Hammer films, but I think that has more to do with Hammer never listening to him about properly using the source material.

Review The Day of the Doctor (2013)

I will agree with that, mate. The story really is all over the place. But I can't help but love it. I'm a sucker for multi-Doctor stories. Same way I still love The Five Doctors, and yet so much of that story makes absolutely no sense.
