South Park is a great show, though I’ve had issues with it from time to time.

    Review Rick and Morty (2013)

Adult swim is so craptacular. Look what they did to the fourth season of “The Boondocks” and “Metalocalypse”. They don’t know what to do with their best programming.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: THE WEB - Episode 05

I know it will turn out at the end, but it’s always still suspenseful to me. I agree the Decimas looked like mini Zygons. You can tell that these are the same people who created Doctor Who. And really, the Lost aren’t all that intelligent if they let their creation spin so widely out of...

Ohh, I represent the women on this board? That’s a lot of pressure! :emoji_scream:

    Review BLAKE'S 7: TIME SQUAD - Episode 04

At first I just thought Zen was being difficult. It would have been helpful if he had explained why he wasn’t letting the ship in. Speaking of, I felt Avon was pressured to save Blake and Jenna by Vila and Gan standing there. When Cally appeared, I wondered if she would become another crew...

Maybe he figured his crew was faithful to him.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: CYGNUS ALPHA - Episode 03

SO here’s our third outing ... We see two figures on a lonely planet. Will they rescue the prisoners? We meet a form of AI (that’s slightly clairvoyant) on the ship, Zen. He makes piloting the ship much easier, but won’t land on the prison planet. Our prisoners are dropped off at the...

    Review BLAKE'S 7: THE WAY BACK - Episode 01

At this point it’s impossible to know. But I think he’s naive, because he never thought the fellow with all the information would rat him out. That points to a more systematic type of repression.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: SPACE FALL - Episode 02

So the prisoners on the ship are Blake’s future crew, eh? Vila made a strong impression. Good thing for him he was claustrophobic - that poor man who got trapped in the shaft! Avon’s got a mean right hook. He’s mercenary but we know he’ll emerge a hero. The whole ensemble is shaping up very...

    Review BLAKE'S 7: THE WAY BACK - Episode 01

True. The only reason they didn’t kill Blake was because he was a figurehead, of sorts.

    Review BLAKE'S 7: THE WAY BACK - Episode 01

I knew if Blake didn’t escape there’d be no show, but I was still on the edge of my seat. I was surprised at how easily the show killed off its characters. Tel Varon seemed like a real sap, not knowing anything about his superiors. I find it hard to believe he’s never had a questionable case...

    Review Anime Movies

The Red Turtle had some breathtaking animation, but not anime-style. The human beings were competently drawn but very generic looking. It was a wonderful film. I love Studio Ghibli.

    Review Blade Runner 2049 (2017)

I heard it was beautiful, but I watched it at a drive in movie theater where the picture just sucked. Other than a few revelations about Deckert, I found the movie dull and over long.

    Review Lost Cinema

I read it! Boy the movie would have been different if they’d followed the story. No one was real sympathetic, besides the oblivious strongman. (At least how I remember it.)

Review Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

I finally saw it. It didn’t resonate much with me because I sort of wrote Star Wars off after Rogue One. That said, aside from being too long it wasn’t a bad movie. I missed Luke's dying moment because I was looking for my mom, who went to the bathroom and never came back (turned out she sat in...
