Yayyy!!!! The Brigadier was back - and I always thought that this sad return for him, showing a proud soldier in a state of decline was a much more realistic return than what I saw as the later, "my belly looks really big in this army jumper"/back in the saddle for one more fight* return of BATTLEFIELD.

If I had known at the time that UNIT continuity was screwed up and that this could have been a return for Ian Chesterton, I might not have embraced the story so warmly.

Hard to believe that this cleverly thought through story was from the same writer as TIMEFLIGHT.
