I loved this one as a kid - Target book wise - and thought it was just a nicely different story.

The Doctor gets it wrong for a start, being judgemental about the humans around him not trusting the Axons, until it turns out that the humans were right not to trust them.

And then there is the possibility at the end that the Doctor may have joined forces with the Master, deserting everyone.

The aliens and sinister and weird in their conception.

I just really like this tale from the somewhat mad Barker and Martin!

I've always enjoyed this story.

Such a classic, with the whole UNIT family present, including Corporal Bell!
