The death of an American hero and a contributor to the betterment of all Humankind.

Charles Elwood "Chuck" Yeager, February 13, 1923 – December 7, 2020, was a United States Air Force officer, flying ace and record-setting test pilot. In 1947, he became the first pilot in history confirmed to have exceeded the speed of sound in level flight.

He was 97.

Charley Frank Pride, March 18, 1934 – December 12, 2020. He was an American singer, musician, guitarist, business owner, a professional baseball player and just an all-round American legend.

His greatest musical success came during the 1970s, when he became the best-selling performer for RCA Records since Elvis Presley. During the peak years of his recording career, from 1966 through to 1987, he garnered 52 top-10 hits on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 30 of which made it to number one.

He died at the age of 86, due to complications from COVID-19.
