    Review BLAKE'S 7: ORAC - Episode 13

I suspect those lines have probably made their way into many shows between Blake's 7 and Firefly. Although, there are a lot of Blake's 7 elements in Firefly. It's not the same show but its certainly a spiritual successor.

    Review Marco Polo (1964)

This is one story that definitely warranted the number of episodes.

Review The Reign Of Terror (1964)

I will agree that the cast did appear to have had a tremendous amount of fun making The Gunfighters.

    Review The Aztecs (1964)

I loved the Doctor's romance with Cameca.

    Review The Sensorites (1964)

Unfortunately there were a few stories like that in the early years. The six episode stories were to enable the sets to be used for a reasonable time and allow time to create and plan the next one. Unfortunately the episode numbers were assigned to stories rather than identify which stories...

Really???? That story drives me insane. Especially that song!

Maybe he recognised a wall and understood that he wasn't allowed to climb over it but since he wasn't a city ape he didn't recognise the building and just thought it was a tree? :emoji_smirk:

    Review 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968)

Funnily enough, I'm not generally a fan of remakes especially not of classics that have aged as well as this one, but for some reason I think I'd be keen to see a Netflix remake of this as a single limited episode series.

    Review The Web Planet (1965)

I too first found this story in the target novelisation, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However even reading the book I realised that the ambitious nature of the story must have been almost impossible to film for television with any real adequacy. Watching the episodes many years later I admired...

Review An Adventure in Space and Time (2013)

If you'd showed me that picture without saying anything about it I would have just assumed it was Jon without any question.

Fun Star Trek: Deep Space Nine

It's worth watching once you persevere through the worst of the early episodes. It remains my favourite ST series and I'm rewatching it again now (in between episodes of Enterprise, Game of Thrones, Daredevil and the IT Crowd).

Fun Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987)

This is what frustrates me about most of the current Star Trek. They keep saying that having everyone get along is too hard to write creatively for, which ignores the fact that it was quite succesfully done in both TOS and TNG which remain incredibly popular.

    Fun Star Trek: Enterprise

Just finished season 2 with an episode that felt like nothing more than a set up for season 3. A fairly "meh" episode to be honest, despite what should have been massively shocking with Trip's sister being killed. It just never felt like anything more than setup. Still, I'm looking forward to...

That's the main reason I'm planning on watching it.

I can see no possible good outcome for this.

Review Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

In most cases I'd suggest this was the best approach, however if you're planning a trilogy and don't have any ideas about where its going or how it ends while making the middle episode, it's more likely to cause problems. I'd be surprised if there wasn't at least some thoughts on how the story...

    Review Robin Hood (2018)

Of course we don't, but since the characters are public domain its a cheap, well known story for a studio to use. It's the same reason we keep getting King Arthur remakes. Since it's not limited to one studio you can have half a dozen versions in development at the same time.

    Controversial Political Correctness

That's true but the lack of outcry over that casting choice (aside from the obvious brilliance of having Samuel L. Jackson in anything) was partly due to the fact that the movie character was based on the Ultimate universe where the character had been changed from the original to one that was...

Review Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005)

I feel like I've succeeded at parenting! I've insisted that my kids read each book before they're allowed to watch the movies. (I read the first couple to them and they're slowly working through the rest). My eldest two finally finished Goblet of Fire and sat down to watch the movie. My eldest's...

    Review Shazam (2019)

Definitely the right move - only challenge is that the kid will age significantly between movies which could cause challenges.
