S - SHE (1935)

A film about a powerful woman who has discovered the secret of immortality. Of course, the film is now so old that everyone who was involved in its production is now dead.

V - Van Helsing (2004)

The director of 1999's The Mummy remake takes on several Universal Monsters in this film starring Hugh Jackman as Gabriel Van Helsing, a seemingly immortal hunter of evil employed by the church, sent to Transylvania to fight Dracula. Think Castlevania blended with The Mummy, with the Frankenstein monster thrown in for good measure. An enjoyable film if you don't take it too seriously, and better than anything that's being planned for the Dark Universe.

X - X-Men: First Class (2011)

An enjoyable X-Men film, but the most talked about scene was 47 seconds of Hugh Jackman as Wolverine. Also, Fassbender gets to speak German, and it's not nearly as great as the scene in Inglorious Basterds.
