@Doctor Omega
I had forgotten the Michael Douglas produced Starman. I remember wanting Jeff Bridges as my own
Starman. Such a heart touching story. However they remake it, they better get it right...:):):)

About Starman,
I just finished watching it. I had to do it. Are they planning on a total remake or a Starman II?
If you remember, he gives her a baby boy during their railroad car ride. Then at the very end,
he gives her the last 'orb', she asks "what should I do with it?" And, he simply says
"the baby will know". That leaves a lot of possibilities open...:):):)

It is a total remake.

Did you know about the Starman tv show that was on years ago?

About Starman: Thanks for the link, it has some pretty interesting info. Sounds like they're
going to do a good remake. Also, Michael Douglas is going to produce it. I have faith in
his good judgment. And I did not know about the TV series. I wonder if it's available
somewhere for viewing...:):):)

Yeah it sounds like a total makeover.

As for the tv show, I have never seen it either. I am not even sure if it aired in the uk where I live, but there used to be articles at the time about it in Starlog magazine. It is intended as a "fourteen years later" follow up to the original film.

The whole series is currently on you tube, starting with episode one...

or, if you prefer to own it you can get the whole series on region 1 dvd, but it will set you back a few pennies/cents.

About Starman: WOW thanks for the You tube info. I found the DVD @ Amazon for 27.99+
I will not buy from them. I'll check out you tube. Thanks...♡♡♡
Here's the IMDB page for the series.

I see that it lasted only one season of 22 episodes. In Starlog fans were unhappy at the cancellation as I remember, so it attracted a bit of a cult following of loyal fans at the time.
