Fun I guess this saying is true.

Only legally speaking. In my mind, you'd be totally justified. Unless it was me you shot, of course. Then my opinion would probably be a little more mixed.

    Review Urban Legends

You should have taken the time to record some really low quality, blurry video footage first. The fact that you had a normal, human reaction makes me doubt your story :emoji_alien:

Fun THE DEVELOPMENT HELL THREAD: Where Abandoned Movie Projects Go to Die!

The really frustrating thing is that the original movies really lend themselves to a quality retelling/reimagining and would be a natural fit for a shared universe. The fact that Universal have managed to stuff up something that should be fairly simple is very disappointing.

    Review The Orville (2017)

Episode 10 - Firestorm Continuing the trend of "a day in the limelight" episodes for the crew, this one focused on Alara, giving her some great character development and an interesting back story (including a welcome guest appearance from Robert Picardo). It was genuinely creepy in places and...

Review Maze Runner: The Death Cure (2018)

I have to say, I found the final book in this series to be fairly disappointing.

    I'm shocked! Shocked I say!

    Review Justice League (2017)

I think there's definitely room for some form of extended version. The studio mandated run-time really squeezed the story and, while I enjoyed it overall, I think there was room for more in this one.

That's absolutely a definite yes! Or no! Hang on, which week is it?

    Review Friends (1994)

I did like the fact that the Chandler and Monica relationship was able to be as stable as it was. Given their family backgrounds it was a good relationship for them both. Ross and Rachel, on the other hand, seem to have grown up as the "spoilt" children and it shows in their relationships.

    Review Friends (1994)

I'm re-watching the series at the moment. Some of the humour has dated poorly (there's a lot of homophobia jokes, for example). It's interesting watching the Ross/Rachel relationship in hindsight. Both characters didn't come out of things well to be honest, but I think Rachel is overall worse...

Review The Mind of Evil (1971)

Not enough story for the episode count and a pointless plan by The Master. And the timing is a bit confusing. This is the next story after Terror of the Autons and yet The Master has been working as Professor Keller for 6 months? And did he honestly think that 'curing' criminals wouldn't give...

    Review The Matt Smith Doctor

That looks pretty interesting. Might have to give it a watch.

    Fun Cricket

I can understand the logic of playing for a draw as well but it doesn't say much for their confidence in their ability to win games. Test cricket is really struggling (despite being my preferred form of the game) and, although the ashes remain popular, play like this will continue the reduction...

    Review Justice League (2017)

There's definitely room for an extended cut for this one. I enjoyed it, but I think the studio imposed time restriction did cause some problems for the final cut.

Review The Evil of the Daleks (1967)

The sad thing is that each of those stories had so much potential that they didn't live up to.

Review Murder on the Orient Express (2017)

Awesome. I suspected that would be the next one based on the sequel hook at the end. Another great story (aren't they all) and the added benefit of (hopefully) some awesome location filming.

Review Murder on the Orient Express (2017)

Just back from seeing it and I have to say I'm impressed. Its one of the more faithful Christie adaptations I've seen. The performances from the all star cast are fantastic and the cinematography is gorgeous. And although Kenneth Branagh isn't the perfect Poirot (that would obviously be David...

    Review The Underwater Menace (1967)

Yeah after being destroyed for the second time I'd have thought they'd have had the sense to move somewhere else rather than hang around for to be destroyed for the third time.
