I'm really enjoying this now. So much for getting any work done today!

Disappointing because I quite liked Manu Bennett's version (although it was fairly far removed from the comics character). On the upside I am looking forward to seeing what Joe Manganiello does with the character. The post credits scene in Justice League was quite enticing.

I rewatched Man of Steel last night for the first time since I first got the DVD. It's not as bad as I remembered it. Overall it's a pretty good Superman origin story. It's not perfect, by any means, but knowing what I was going into this time I found I quite enjoyed it. I have a feeling that...

So I'm guessing this is why they've been holding off all announcements about "Phase 4" other than the line "things will be very different". Presumably Phase 4 will include Fantastic Four (which would make me very happy) and an explosion of mutants (about which I have mixed feelings).

Excellent news. I've always been a fan of his performace as Roy and was disappointed when he left the show.

Well I'm still keen to see her in action. As with all new Doctors I'll make my judgement on the strength of her performance (and to a degree on the quality of the storytelling). And as far as the "rules" go, I wouldn't say there are "no" rules, but over the history of the show they have proven...

That would be very disappointing for them. Imagine travelling all that way to find out you missed seeing him by just a few months.

Doctor Who boards mainly. Started to be regular on the Arrow and Flash boards when they started and usually checked out the forums of the various shows and movies that I watched with occasional comments.

It wasn't really a new idea even when Star Trek did it.

It seems to have been a popular episode to repeat. I remember seeing this one several times as a child, while there were many others that I didn't see until years later on video. I suspect it had something to do with networks understanding the "monster of the week" aspect of science fiction more...

I wish they'd do a new volume of the Programme Guide to bring us up to date with the new series.

That's not profit, that's gross. With a budget of $100 million plus probably a similar amount for marketing and also remembering that the studio doesn't get all of the gross - part goes to the cinemas, they're looking at either just breaking even or making a loss on the movie.

I would have thought that the role of Nightwing would require some extensive acrobatic skills. I recall hearing that DC considered those skills essential for the role. It's a role that pretty much requires finding an unknown actor with the requisite skills rather than casting a "name" actor.

I'm gonna have to get me those. It's a shame that there is no novelisation of the first movie. I've read the novel that the movie was based on but it would have been nice to be able to get a set that matched with the movies, as the original novel had some significant differences to the movie.

I'm so far behind on these shows at the moment :emoji_frowning2:. Only just finished episode 3 of each one. Need some time to sit down and catch up.

Given that the information comes from The Master, my automatic assumption is to disbelieve it.
