    Review The Flash (2014)

Looks like my weekend viewing is sorted. Between Supergirl, Legends, Flash, and Arrow as well as The Orville I'm not going to be bored.

    Fun The Marvel Animated Universe

Wouldn't the first statement automatically imply the second? Or vice versa?

    Review The Flash (2014)

Has it started already? I thought I had another week :emoji_alien:

    Fun City or Country?

I probably do to a degree. I can be around people and socialise when I need to but it's not really something I enjoy. And I absolutely hate being in crowds, especially in places like shopping centres.

Review Murder on the Orient Express (2017)

If they ever decide to do a new Catwoman movie I'd absolutely be happy to see Michelle Pfeifer reprise the role.

Review Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

Yeah, that's definitely possible. I get the feeling that the plan was to kill off one of each of the original trio in each movie with Luke being the last to go in episode 9. It would also fit in with the apparent lack of concern (from a filming perspective) about Carrie Fisher being unavailable...

    Poll Life After Death?

All of them would be immensely more presidential and intelligent. So no chance of them being voted in.

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

Haven't seen it yet. Probably in the next couple of days. Curious about the episode title though. It sounds a bit like a quote of some kind.

Review Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)

Too late. But I didn't see anything that looked spoilerish.

    Fun City or Country?

People are OK. As long as you don't need to talk to them or see them. The internet is a wonderful place where you can do pretty much everything without having to be face to face with people.

Review Twice Upon a Time (2017)

So after watching the episode for free people will be able to pay to see it again? Where do I sign up for that?

    Fun City or Country?

That is the major downside to city (or even suburban) living. Too many people. And by too many, I mean more than me.

    Review The Tom Baker Doctor

I'll be interested to see it. I'd seen the Tom Baker narration with the filmed parts and hadn't thought much of the story but when I read the novelisation that was released a couple of years ago I discovered how good a story it was. The novelisation was a fairly big expansion of the script but...

Fun Do You Ever Get So Engulfed Into A Book........

Yeah I often do that too but often it means I don't enjoy the movie as much. I was very careful to read the novel of Jurassic Park before seeing the movie and was surprised that I ended up enjoying both immensely. I've also made a rule for my kids that they can only see the Harry Potter movies...

    Review Series 11 (2018)

Always disappointed to see less episodes but stretching to 60 minutes is definitely a good move. A 45 minute runtime is rarely long enough for a story to be fully developed and when they stretch that to a two-parter there's often not enough story for the full length resulting in filler. I always...

    Fun The Trek Franchise!

I've always wanted to read Spock Must Die!. The first original Star Trek novel written by one of the great SF writers James Blish who wrote the novelisations(?) of the original series stories. It was through his translations of the screenplays that I first encountered many of the original series...

    Fun Star Trek: Discovery (2017)

I'm prepared to see season 1 through to the end. But if it hasn't grown on me substantially by then it's not likely I'll bother with season 2. After all it's taken me 15 years to give Enterprise a second chance and I still haven't managed to work all the way through that. I keep going back to...

    Review It: Chapter Two (2019)

This worries me a bit. Knowing they were planning two movies they should have planned ahead enough to have filmed the kids scenes for part 2 while they were filming part 1. Not doing that runs the significant risk that the kids grow and change noticeably between movies even though the scenes are...

    Fun City or Country?

I'm a suburban guy myself. Close enough to the city for the convenience without being overloaded by too many people and far enough out that getting out to some nice quiet rural space isn't a challenge.

Review What Book Are You Reading?

The one I'm watching is the Netflix series which appears to have 8 episodes. And yes it is American but at least they had the sense to cast a Brit as Dirk.
