I will say this about season 17, and that's the fact that it has one of my favorite Tom stories in it, City of Death. But I think overall...

The show was surely ready for a JNT to shake everything up by that point.

As time goes on, I appreciate Classic Who perhaps more than I ever did.

And as time goes on, I appreciate Modern Who less and less.

Apparently some students somewhere are recreating scenes of the Hartnell era using some of the original actors or something... Full details when "embargo" lifts tomorrow morning.....

Peter Purves teased it as something "of HUGE interest to fans of Classic Who", but it doesn't sound like much to be honest.......

I found this on YouTube yesterday...

Along with a whole lot more.

Have just contacted a local shop that gets in the sort of "merchandise" I like.

Am waiting for a response on the availability and cost of the Doctor Who 50th Boxset.

I can access it on YouTube, but there are still somethings I like to own outright.

However, I've put in a standing order with him, so if he ever comes across it in future...
